Featuring a high-visibility LCD display with white LED backlight, intuitive operation, and power-saving battery management, the 882IS Series is well suited for demanding industrial applications. The 882IS Plus adds a numeric keypad for enhanced data entry and control. An auto-ranging intrinsically safe power supply allows wiring through a single AC conduit from the safe area, while an FM-approved rechargeable battery provides isolated power for mobile or standalone applications.
Designed for clear visibility and ease of use, the 882IS features a backlit LCD display that remains bright and readable even in low-light conditions. Its stainless steel enclosure delivers superior resistance to environmental exposure, ensuring long-term durability in demanding industrial settings.
To enhance system flexibility, the 882IS supports an optional safe-area I/O Module with serial communication, Ethernet TCP/IP, and optional analog output or fieldbus cards for seamless integration with printers, computers, and other peripherals. A duplex fiber-optic port provides electrically isolated communication between the indicator and the I/O Module. For a complete intrinsically safe solution, the 882IS interfaces with FM/ATEX-approved load cells and junction boxes, delivering a fully certified weighing system for hazardous locations.
